Reforestation x ecological education x local partnership for forests where people and nature thrive
CHALLENGE
Taiwan’s ecosystems face long-term habitat fragmentation from roads and development, limiting species movement and genetic diversity.
Through the Chiayi railway elevation project, Kedge joined the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency initiative to restore habitat, protect biodiversity and support sustainable local development through reforestation, habitat creation and community collaboration.
