The construction of the Messe Toayuan, which spanned over three years, overcame the challenges of the pandemic and labor shortages. The project adhered to a construction quality management plan, implementing various self-inspections throughout the process. Innovative methods such as single-strand hoop, pre-assembled rebar cages for columns, and system templates were utilized to reduce labor issues and minimize risks. Additionally, digital tools like cloud data management and BIM modeling significantly enhanced construction management.
The project was awarded the prestigious FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award for Construction Quality, with Vice President Lin Ming-chung attending the award ceremony. The architectural design of the Messe Toayuan was inspired by “The Peach Blossom Spring” narrative, envisioning it as a peach blossom grove. In the future, the center will serve as a vital platform for international exchanges and industrial development in Taoyuan, becoming a landmark for trade, industry exchange, large exhibitions, and conferences.
