Kedge Hosts Health and Rice Culture Event for Multinational Staff

In March 2024, Kedge Construction held a “Health and Rice Culture Seminar” at construction site in Taishan District, New Taipei City. The event featured a physical therapist and a professional chef who shared their expertise with both migrant workers and local employees. The physical therapist provided lessons on effective stretching exercises to help alleviate work-related stress and fatigue, while the chef offered insights into Taiwan’s unique rice food culture.

Colleagues of various nationalities came together to stretch and make traditional grass cake (草仔粿). In addition to gaining health knowledge, the hands-on experience with traditional Taiwanese cuisine allowed them to experience the unique charm of Taiwanese culture up close. The cross-cultural exchange fostered mutual learning and growth among team members, deepening their camaraderie.

Kedge Construction upholds the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company will continue to organize cultural enrichment activities to promote workplace communication and create a vibrant and harmonious work environment.
