As ESG becomes increasingly important to risk management and long-term value creation, Kedge Construction has partnered with the Taiwan Construction Research Institute (TCRI) to publish the ESG Implementation Guide for the Construction Industry. The guide is designed to help construction companies strengthen resilience, enhance competitiveness, and translate sustainability goals into practical action.
With a particular focus on unlisted companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the guide provides practical examples and step-by-step recommendations to make ESG implementation more accessible across the industry. It focuses on three key areas:
- Building a comprehensive understanding of ESG: Providing an overview of environmental, social, and governance priorities, current developments, and future goals.
- Strengthening sustainability disclosure: Helping companies communicate their sustainability strategies, performance, and long-term direction more effectively to stakeholders.
Turning ESG goals into action: Offering practical steps that companies can apply to integrate sustainability into their operations and create long-term value.
By sharing practical experience and implementation approaches, Kedge and TCRI aim to make ESG more actionable for companies at different stages of their sustainability journey. The guide also supports greater collaboration across the construction value chain, helping companies and supply chain partners work together toward a greener and more resilient industry.
