Kedge in Action: 2025 Social Impact

Throughout 2025, Kedge Construction continued to put its professional expertise and corporate resources to work for the communities it serves. From education and home repairs to cultural engagement and support for underserved groups, Kedge focused on initiatives that respond to real community needs and create lasting social value.

Expanding Access to Education and Reading

In 2025, Kedge donated NT$6 million to the Kindom Yu-Shan Education Foundation to support a wide range of reading and educational initiatives, including the production of Celebrity Study, publication of G!VOICE, book fairs, lectures, and other programs designed to make reading and learning more accessible.

Guided by its mission to promote reading and architectural education, the Foundation also provides educational resources and facilities to students in rural and underserved communities as well as social welfare organizations. Its programs seek to broaden access to learning while encouraging greater public appreciation of architecture, cities, and quality of life.

During the year, G!VOICE published 2,500 copies, while its website recorded more than 21,000 average monthly views and its Facebook community grew to over 74,000 followers. Celebrity Study produced 13 episodes, along with two new editorial features and three special episodes. The program recorded 1.147 million YouTube views in 2025, while its podcast reached 484,000 cumulative downloads. Online and in-store book fairs were also organized in partnership with Kingstone Bookstore.

The Foundation further brought together Kindom Development, Kedge Construction, and eight Global Mall locations across Taiwan for a group-wide reading initiative. In 2025, the program collected 5,060 donated books, contributed approximately 600 books to a micro-library in Taichung, and organized creative markets and musical performances. In partnership with Ming Chuan University, the Foundation also hosted architecture lectures featuring architects from Taiwan and abroad, creating opportunities for students and industry professionals to exchange ideas.

Kedge additionally contributed NT$3 million to university-industry collaboration, scholarships, and talent development programs, helping young people build professional skills and pursue their education. Continued support was also provided to educational and community organizations serving children and students in underserved areas.

Using Construction Expertise to Improve Living Conditions

Kedge continued to expand its Kind-Repair community repair initiative in 2025, completing 10 repair projects with a total investment of NT$2,393,674. The projects ranged from improvements to nonprofit facilities and homes in rural communities to repairs for disadvantaged households and post-disaster recovery.

The initiative also broadened its reach from individual households to community and nonprofit spaces. New partnerships with social welfare organizations helped extend Kedge’s construction expertise to more people and communities in need.

Kedge also responded to major disasters during the year. Following the Chiayi–Tainan earthquake in January, Typhoon Danas, and flooding caused by barrier lakes, Kedge mobilized resources and construction expertise to support repair and recovery efforts. By applying its core capabilities where they are most needed, Kedge helps communities restore safer living environments and strengthen resilience after disasters.

Supporting Culture through Film

Kedge also extended its social engagement to Taiwan’s cultural and creative sector by supporting the Taiwanese film Marching Boys. In addition to contributing to the film, Kedge purchased movie tickets and invited residents from the Tatung Children’s Home and the Minquan Community Care Center to attend screenings, bringing cultural experiences to children and community members who may have fewer opportunities to access them.

Kedge contributed a total of NT$143,050 to domestic film, arts, and cultural initiatives in 2025. Through film and storytelling, these efforts create opportunities for connection while supporting Taiwan’s cultural ecosystem.

Employee Giving Extends the Impact

Social engagement at Kedge also extends beyond company-led programs. During the Christmas season, employees across Kindom Group initiated a donation drive for the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, purchasing and donating gifts and supplies valued at NT$106,277.

The employee-led initiative reflects how community engagement is increasingly becoming part of everyday culture across the Group, complementing Kedge’s corporate programs with voluntary participation from its people. The employee-led initiative reflects how community engagement is increasingly becoming part of everyday culture across the Group, complementing Kedge’s corporate programs with voluntary participation from its people.

Turning Professional Expertise into Lasting Social Value

Looking back on 2025, Kedge continued to combine its professional expertise with cross-sector partnerships, corporate resources, and employee participation to address a diverse range of social needs. Rather than approaching community engagement as a series of one-time contributions, Kedge is building long-term relationships and programs across education, housing, culture, and community care. Moving forward, the company will continue to apply its capabilities where they can make a meaningful difference, working with partners and communities to create lasting social value
