When Typhoon Danas and subsequent southwest monsoon rains struck southern Taiwan in July, heavy flooding and power outages disrupted countless families. In response, Kedge Construction immediately mobilized relief efforts to support affected communities. Working with the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Bureau of Energy, Kedge delivered power generation equipment to restore essential electricity to disaster-hit areas. The company also partnered with the Railway Bureau to dispatch engineering teams to Baihe, Tainan, conducting home assessments and repairs to help residents return to safe, secure housing. In addition, canvas materials from Yonghe Sports Center were donated to the Tainan Family Support Center, providing temporary waterproof roofing for children in need. As Taiwan continues to face typhoon threats, Kedge remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding communities, proving that while storms may disrupt roads, they cannot shake the company’s determination to protect homes and families.
