Kedge Wins the 19th Golden Safety Awards for Excellence in Construction

Three Kedge Construction projects across Taiwan were recognized at the Ministry of Labor’s 19th Golden Safety Awards for Excellence in Construction. Spanning a corporate headquarters, a public urban renewal project, and a major railway infrastructure project, the award-winning projects demonstrate Kedge’s consistent approach to occupational safety across diverse and complex construction environments.

Dachan Group Corporate Headquarters

Safety was integrated into project planning and decision-making from the outset, with senior management directly involved in occupational safety oversight. Through systematic management and rigorous on-site implementation, the project established a strong foundation for protecting frontline workers throughout construction.

Minquan East Road Public Urban Renewal Project, Songshan District, Taipei

Through continuous safety reviews and proactive risk management, the project maintained steady construction progress while achieving zero major occupational accidents.

Tainan Railway Underground Project — Contract C212

Working in a high-risk environment involving both trackside and underground construction, the project team used Building Information Modeling (BIM) and smart monitoring technologies to anticipate risks and support real-time safety management. During excavation, the team also carefully protected the remains of a railway turntable dating from the Japanese colonial period, balancing construction progress with workplace safety and cultural heritage preservation. These honors belong to every Kedge team member who puts safety into practice on the jobsite each day. The recognition also reinforces Kedge’s commitment to continuously strengthening occupational safety management and building safer workplaces across every project.
