Kindom Group Companies Receive 1.5°C Climate Certification

Kindom Development, Kedge Construction, and Global Mall have each received the 1.5°C Climate Certification under CommonWealth Magazine’s Corporate Carbon Reduction Temperature Rating program. The recognition reflects the three companies’ ongoing efforts to manage greenhouse gas emissions and implement emissions reduction measures across their operations.

In 2024, Kindom Group’s emissions reduction targets were also validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), providing a science-based framework for the Group’s climate actions.

At Kedge, emissions reduction efforts include the use of Portland limestone cement (PLC) concrete to lower the embodied carbon of construction materials, as well as internal carbon pricing and a dedicated carbon fund to support energy-saving and emissions-reduction initiatives at construction sites. Kedge is also expanding the use of precast construction and aluminum formwork as part of its efforts to improve resource efficiency and reduce emissions associated with construction activities. Kedge will continue to track its emissions performance and implement reduction measures in line with its established climate targets.
