Supplier Conference

Our Actions

The 2025 Kedge Construction Supplier Conference was held on March 21, with the core concept of “Advancing Sustainability Together, Leaping to New Horizons,” gathering over 200 construction supply chain partners, including benchmark companies such as Taiwan Cement, Tong Ho Steel, Champion Ceramics, Ruentex Precision Materials, and Asia Dong Ready Mixed Concrete, to jointly explore new directions for sustainable development in the construction industry. During the conference, “Outstanding Sustainability Partner Awards” and “Excellent Supplier Awards” were presented, totaling 73 awards, to recognize supply chain partners’ outstanding contributions to sustainable management.

Kedge Construction Chairman Yuan Ai-Wei emphasized in his address that sustainable development has become the core of global corporate operations. As the construction industry is an important link in carbon emissions, it must work hand-in-hand with value chain partners to jointly promote low-carbon building materials, environmental construction methods, and resource recycling. Kedge Construction has long been committed to green procurement and has received the “Green Procurement Excellence Enterprise” award from New Taipei City Government Environmental Protection Bureau for four consecutive years. In 2024, procurement amounts exceeded NT$700 million, demonstrating firm commitment to sustainable construction and environmental responsibility.

Promoting "Construction Industry ESG Sustainability Implementation Plan Operational Guidelines" Leading the Industry Toward Low-Carbon Transformation

To accelerate low-carbon building material applications, Kedge Construction commissioned the Taiwan Construction Research Institute in 2024 to conduct seismic testing on PLC low-carbon concrete beams and columns, verifying their safety and feasibility, laying the foundation for low-carbon material promotion. This year, Kedge and the Taiwan Construction Research Institute will jointly publish the “Construction Industry ESG Sustainability Implementation Plan Operational Guidelines” to assist the industry in exchanging sustainable practice experiences. The guidelines provide a framework for corporate sustainability information disclosure, helping grasp sustainable development trends and offering feasible recommendations to promote the implementation of ESG goals in the construction industry.

Collaborating with Supply Chain to Create a Low-Carbon Future

Kedge Construction deeply understands that sustainable development relies on the collective efforts of the entire supply chain. Senior Vice President Fan Jin-Hua stated: “Excellent suppliers are key to achieving outstanding engineering. Currently, Kedge has established supplier management procedures based on ISO standards, from initial evaluation, regular assessment after contract signing to continuous monitoring, establishing standardized processes to ensure engineering quality and enhance industry competitiveness.”

In the future, Kedge Construction will promote the construction industry toward more environmentally friendly and resilient development through technological innovation, information transparency, and industry cooperation. The successful hosting of this supplier conference symbolizes the close cooperation between Kedge Construction and supply chain partners on the path of sustainable development, continuing to uphold the spirit of “Advancing Sustainability Together, Leaping to New Horizons,” working hand-in-hand with industry partners to create a new sustainable landscape for the construction industry.
